CNC Machining (3–5 axis)
Over 20 CNC machines run the world’s most advanced cell of equipment for landing-gear components — from full structural parts to custom bushings.
Capabilities
State-of-the-art Okuma CNC and EDM equipment, in-house CAD/CAM engineering, certified non-destructive testing, and the most complete in-house material inventory in the landing-gear business — all backed by AS9100D, FAA 145, ITAR, and ISO 9001:2015 certifications.
Over 20 CNC machines run the world’s most advanced cell of equipment for landing-gear components — from full structural parts to custom bushings.
Electrical Discharge Machining for complex geometries and hard-to-machine features that traditional cutting can’t reach.
Approximately 20 manual lathes and mills handle one-off and specialized custom work alongside the CNC fleet.
In-house CAD/CAM software bridges design to manufacturing — accurate programs, tight tolerances, and engineering review on every part.
Certified fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals — included at no cost per ASTM specifications.
We pioneered the 24-hour turnaround concept for AOG situations. In-stock materials and dedicated cells let us start production immediately.
Complete supporting paperwork ships with every finished part. Full traceability under AS9100D and FAA 145 — your paper trail is complete.
The most extensive in-stock aerospace material inventory in the business. We don’t wait 24–48 hours to order — we cut.
Prototype runs, low-volume production, and repair/overhaul services for legacy landing-gear systems. We work directly with OEM engineering teams.
Equipment
Over 20 multi-axis Okuma CNC machines and EDM run a cell dedicated to landing-gear components — gear legs, shock absorbers, struts, bushings, and out-of-scope nuts. Approximately 20 manual lathes and mills handle specialized custom work, all programmed in-house through CAD/CAM.
CNC machines
Multi-axis Okuma cell — 3-axis through 7-axis multi-tasking lathes.
Manual lathes & mills
Dedicated to specialized custom work and one-off requirements.
Electrical Discharge Machining
Complex geometries and hard-to-machine features the cutter can't reach.
CAD / CAM in-house
Design-to-program pipeline tuned for tight aerospace tolerances and finishes.
On the floor
The CNC fleet is anchored by Okuma multi-tasking lathes — the gold standard for aerospace turning. Multi-axis capability lets us combine turning, milling, and drilling on one setup, which is why we hit AOG turn times nobody else can match.

Manual Fleet
Specialized one-off bushings, prototype runs, and rework requests that don't justify a CNC program land on the manual fleet. The machinists running these stations have decades of aerospace experience and a particular pride in hand-finishing aerospace work.
Facility
Our 14540 Sand Holly Circle facility houses the entire CNC and manual machining fleet, in-house non-destructive testing, and an extensive aerospace materials inventory — all under one roof.
Co-locating equipment, materials, and quality lets us start production immediately on AOG calls. No outsourcing. No waiting on materials. No surprises.
Non-Destructive Testing
We are certified to perform fluorescent penetrant inspection and magnetic particle inspection on all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, in accordance with ASTM specifications.
Surface flaw detection on non-porous metallic and non-metallic parts. Capable on both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Surface and near-surface flaw detection on ferrous parts. Standard inclusion for landing-gear overhaul work.
Supporting paperwork is delivered with every finished part. Your paper trail is complete.
AOG Response
Aircraft on Ground means revenue lost by the hour. We pioneered the 24-hour turnaround concept for AOG situations — and three decades later we still run the playbook better than anyone in the bushing business.
Materials in stock. Cells dedicated to bushings. NDT in-house. Documentation shipped with the parts. Pick up the phone — we'll start cutting before the call ends.
Quality
The quality program is led by Mike Taft. Our dedication to constant improvement in methods of manufacturing and processing orders is what makes just-in-time delivery possible — and it's why the DLA recognized us as Innovative Business Performer of the Year.
Every part is measured, inspected, and signed off before it leaves the floor. Coordinate measuring machines (CMM), micrometers, and dial indicators all play a role — and a human looks at the result.
We don't ship a bushing we wouldn't install ourselves. The DLA award reflects that.
